BDS Cardiff University 2007
Dentist
Dr Rajiv Patel graduated with BDS (Hons) from Cardiff University in 2007. His passion lies in providing general preventative dental care to families and patients of all age groups. He has always loved being a General Dental Practitioner as he believes the varying daily clinical challenges he comes across keeps him on his toes, and amalgamates multiple principles of Dentistry at once.
He initially worked in the North London areas of Southgate and Finsbury Park between 2008-2013, and then worked in a long established Family Dental Practice in Harrow for nine years. He was very grateful to Dr Aron Marcus for giving him the opportunity to become a Principle Dentist of his own in 2023, when he took over the reigns at Aron Marcus Dental Practice.
Dr Patel has undertaken numerous post graduate training programmes at Institutions like the Eastman Dental Hospital, The Royal London Hospital and at Kings College London. Here he trained in specific fields (with specialists/trainers including Dr Kushal Gadia, Dr Maria Lessani, Dr Mahul Patel and Dr Raheel Malik) including general restorative dentistry (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges and Dentures), Tooth wear, Occlusion, Root Canal Treatment and Periodontics. He gained further skill sets in 2013 after completing a 1-year programme under the guidance of Dr Christopher Orr in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He also became a certified Invisalign Comprehensive provider in 2014, and has since completed numerous Invisalign / Aesthetic treatments.
Dr Patel has a keen interest in helping up and coming students of Dentistry, and has been providing work experience and guidance to numerous students over the years. He also believes that Prevention is better than cure and carries out Oral Health talks in both primary and secondary schools.
Outside of the world of Dentistry (when precious time does become available), Dr Patel is a very busy ‘FAMILY GUY’. He enjoys his sports and fitness, music as well as the culinary world.
